Mission Statement:
Section 1.
To formulate, disseminate, and vigorously promote and protect the general welfare of the community in order to preserve and enhance its unique residential character for future generations.
Section 2.
To ensure that the Yaphank community is preserved principally for high quality residential use and thus retain its identity as an essential element of a historic hamlet.
Section 3.
To encourage the development of facilities or activities required for the support of this area and its residents.
Section 4.
To exercise vigilance in zoning matters, so that the rights and interests of the majority of the residents are protected.
Section 5.
To inform and educate the citizens of cogent community problems.
Section 6.
To actively develop the revenue base through conducting a broad variety of fund raising and grant seeking activities in order to enhance, maintain and beautify the Yaphank hamlet.
Section 7.
The YTCA shall be non-partisan and non-sectarian in its activities.
